Pick your goal.
Select from four paths when you arrive. Each one changes the content, quiz difficulty, and voice simulation personas you encounter.
The platform uses your goal to prioritize which topics you see first, which AI personas you practice with, and how aggressive the spaced repetition schedule is.
Take the diagnostic.
A 10-minute adaptive quiz assesses your current knowledge across six areas. The result is a personalized learning map.
The diagnostic adapts in real time — if you get a hard question right, the next one is harder. By the end, you have a precise map of strengths and gaps, not a vague score.
Follow the learning path.
Based on your diagnostic, the platform recommends a sequence of flashcard decks, games, and quizzes. The spaced repetition system tracks what needs review.
The spaced repetition algorithm determines exactly what you review today based on what you got wrong yesterday and what you're at risk of forgetting tomorrow.
Practice with voice simulations.
Once a topic is at 70% mastery in flashcards and quizzes, the voice simulation for that topic unlocks. Practice explaining concepts out loud, answering interview questions, and defending positions to AI personas.
Voice simulations require real mastery to unlock — you cannot jump to them without building the foundation. When you get there, the feedback is scored on accuracy, structure, and confidence.
Build in the sandbox.
Once voice simulation scores pass a threshold, the sandboxed model for that topic unlocks. You build the real thing — a DCF, an LBO, a portfolio — with AI guidance. Completing a sandbox simulation earns a verified badge on your profile.
This is not a tutorial. You make every input decision. The AI validates each one and asks why you made it. Completing the sandbox is proof of real capability, not course completion.
Get recruited.
Top performers across all topics appear in the recruiting pipeline visible to partner IB and PE firms. A student with 90th percentile scores on LBO mechanics and DCF valuation gets surfaced to firms hiring analysts.
The leaderboard score is not a vanity metric. The eventual vision is that a student's Finium rank becomes as credible as their GPA when applying to finance roles.
From struggling in interviews to getting the offer.
Before Finium, I could not walk through a DCF under any pressure without blanking. After six weeks of voice simulations and sandbox builds, I had offers from two bulge bracket banks. The difference was doing it — not reading about it.
I had the theory from my CFA studies. What I didn't have was the ability to apply it under pressure. The timed quiz mode and voice simulations changed that completely. I passed Level I on the first attempt.
The Blackstone interview process is brutal on LBO mechanics. Finium's sandbox LBO build is the only thing that actually prepared me — building the debt schedule and returns analysis from scratch meant I could do it in the interview without a spreadsheet.
